Skies Above Core Book

Skies Above is a d8 powered TTRPG inspired by classic Japanese Role Playing Games. It takes place in a vibrant world that was broken long ago during a calamity known as The Breaking and now the lands lay scattered across endless skies.

Inside this book you’ll find all the information you need to play Skies Above as either a player taking on the role of one of the Skyfolk adventuring through the world, or as the Chronicler who takes on the role of Games Master and works with the players to make your own story, and even to challenge them at points to add drama and exitement around the table.

This book contains

• All of the rules needed for Skies Above and some optional ones

• 12 Job Classes and 9 unique Skyfolk for Players to choose from

• Simple rules for Crafting and Cooking using common and uncommon ingredients.

• A range of elemental spells and large instant summons known as Arias.

• Guidelines for the Chronicler to help create adventures, dungeons and locals and how to reward players.

• A Beastiary with 20 different monster types, all of which can be scaled and customised and come with a boss variation to really push the characters.
